Find Your Way Back to Yourself

Counselling for adults rebuilding their sense of self after difficult relationships or experiences.
Maybe it's not one thing you're carrying, but many, a series of experiences that have built up over time, each one shaping how you see yourself a little differently. Or perhaps it was one moment, something that happened and shook your world apart, and nothing has felt quite the same since. Some of it may feel clear, while other parts you're still trying to make sense of. There could be a feeling underneath it all that you can't quite name, a version of yourself that doesn't feel like you anymore, or an experience that's hard to explain to people who weren't there. You might not even be sure where to start, only that something needs to change.
Whatever brought you here, it's not a small thing to reach out. Every person who comes to counselling is looking for the same thing at the core: to be understood, to make sense of what they've been through, and to feel more grounded in who they are. That process looks different for everyone, and there's no wrong way to begin it.
Below are the areas I support most often. You might see yourself clearly in one of them, or a little in several. Wherever you see yourself, we can explore it together, at whatever pace feels right for you.

Leaving a controlling relationship or group can leave you unsure who you are without it. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to heal from that impact — working at your pace to rebuild identity, autonomy, and trust in your own values and choices.

Something from the past can still shape how you react today, even when you'd rather it didn't. Using trauma-informed approaches, we work at your pace to process what happened and build safety and resilience.

Constant worry or dread can make it hard to feel in control of your own mind. Using evidence-based approaches and mindfulness, we work to understand the root causes and build practical strategies for relief.

A heaviness that won't lift can make even ordinary days feel harder than they should. Using approaches like DBT and strength-based strategies, we work to regain clarity, connection, and a more balanced sense of self.

A season of change you didn't choose can be destabilising even when it's the right change. We work to process what's shifting, clarify your direction, and rebuild stability and self-awareness.

Loss doesn't always look the way you expected it to. A compassionate space to explore what you're carrying — of a person, a relationship, or a version of your life — at your own pace.

Good relationships aren't built on luck — they're built on skills. Using the Gottman Method, I help couples understand each other's needs, communication styles, and underlying patterns, so you're working with each other instead of past each other.
If you're stuck having the same fight on repeat, it's usually not about the topic — it's about the pattern underneath it. We work together to identify that pattern and build new ways of navigating conflict.
Trust can be rebuilt after a rupture, but it takes intentional work from both partners. I provide a supportive, structured space to process what happened and move forward together.
Couples counselling isn't only for relationships in crisis — many couples come to deepen an already solid relationship, learn each other more fully, and stay curious about one another long-term.
